As we last left Ashley, she was being visited by the repoman and in dire need of an additional source of income. Benjamin Long had unexpectedly died after becoming pregnant. Ashley gave birth to their son, which she named Benjamin after his father.
Ashley was able to quickly progress her friendship with Brandi Gothier. Brandi eventually moved in, adding $16,000. to the family treasury. Brandi is a knowledge sim, a Pisces and is 5 neat, 3 outgoing, 7 active, 3 playful, and 7 nice.
Brandi was soon expecting another child….this time with Brandi.
She found Brandi attractive enough….and loved her red hair.
However….there was nothing wrong with keeping her eyes open for future prospects…was there? She found Abhijeet pleasant to the eyes…..
….but Joe Carr showed a maternal instinct that Ashley found appealing. After all, she wanted to make sure her children were always taken care of.
Brandi was not happy when she caught Ashley and Joe being “friendly” behind the house. Ashley asked Joe to move in and join the family. Joe moved in with $5000. to add to the family treasury.
Ashley and Brandi’s son, Bradley Hoffman, was born with his mother’s red hair. How cute! 
With her birthing duties completed, Ashley quickly handed her son over to Brandi to care for.
Once Bradley became a toddler, Joe and Brandi shared in the duties of raising a demanding toddler.

Merlea was soon to become a teenager. Joe fixed a nice dinner and was there to help in the celebration.

Benjamin seemed to need a lot of extra help with getting his grades back up. They got down to a ‘D’, and I was worried that the social worker was going to make a visit. He was able to get them back up before that happened. The house was just getting too full, and it was getting too hard to watch everyone and make sure all their needs were being met. (no aspiration cheats!)
Finally…..the birthday I had been waiting for! Barry was to become an adult (no University installed), and Bradley was to become a school-aged boy.
Barry (adult) and youngest brother Bradley (school-aged) shared a birthday. I had Barry move out to a place of his own, taking the two teenagers ( Angela and Merlea) with him. They moved into a house next door to Ashley. This still left Ashley, Brandi, Joe, Benjamin and Bradley in the home. As the children age to teenager, and before they age to adulthood, I will have them move out and in with Barry in order to age them all correctly.
Brandi passed away (of starvation), which left Ashley, Joe, Benjamin and Bradley in the home.
Joe was fired from his job after the wrong choice was made on a chance card. This is definately not going to make Ashley very happy!
What will she do now that Joe is no longer bringing in any income???? Stay tuned!
