I have decided to begin a new challenge. Actually, I started in my old Veronaville neighborhood. I did the deleteallcharacters cheat so I could start with a clean neighborhood. I placed two single women in one home who were friends and went from there. I’ll label them Challenge 1 and Challenge 2. I know…no intermarrying as they are required to marry NPC’s for the actual challenge. I figured this way I can repopulate Veronaville and…once the challenge is over…I’ll be able to play all the “extras” at that time.
These are the rules for the Alphabet Lite Challenge from the TSR website:

For those who like the idea of the Alphabet Challenge but are appalled at the thought of attempting to play 26 generations… here’s a cut-down version that only requires you to play through 25 births instead. How many (or how few) generations you cram that into is up to you and your sims.
In the spirit of the original challenge, the rule set is very simple:
How to Play
1) You start with a single adult CAS whose first name begins with the letter A. This Sim then has to marry (or at least have kids with) another Sim whose name begins with the letter A.
2) The first child born must have a name starting with B, the second with C, and so on.
3) When children grow up, they have to marry someone (or have babies by someone) whose name also starts with the letter as their name does. You may have children via alien Pollination or by Plantsim spawning as well as by the more usual “two adults, one bed” method.
4) As children are born, they get whatever letter is next in line.
For example, say you start with Adam who marries Ashley and they have three children, Bob, Carol and Donald. Carol marries Conrad and has a son Eric, Donald gets married to Dawn who has twins Fawn and Gareth. Fawn woohoos with Frederick and has Hamish, Eric marries Erin and has Iris and John, Bob finally looks up from his microscope and has a May-December romance with Barbara resulting in Kevin… and so on, and so forth… all the way to Z.
The Rules
1) Your Sims can only marry NPCs.
2) No using boolprop, SimsEnhancer, InSIMinator etc. to make people fall in love or change names. However, you may use hacks that start off your neighborhood with larger and more statistically even name spreads (I highly recommend Jordi’s NPC name replacement hack from MTS2), otherwise some letters (F, most notoriously) will have you going nuts trying to find anyone of the correct letter.
3) You can use any other cheats you want to as long as they don’t interfere with the naming aspect of the challenge.
