I was reading the other day AT THIS PLACE  a blog that showed what Don Lothario’s children looked like when his genetics meshed with other sims in Pleasantview. I thought it was interesting, and thought it would be fun to try it myself.

So…here are the results I got:

Firstborn – Dawn. Mother is Dina Caliente (the blond one.) Shown as YA.

Secondborn – Lori. Mother is matchmaker Lakshmi Seavey. Here’s her picture. The graphics were set at default so it didn’t turn out very well. I had to change the graphics to make the picture quality better.

Thirdborn – Nancy. Mother is Nina Caliente (the redhead.) Shown as YA.

Josephine. Other father is Joe Carr. Teen.

Seventhborn – Danielle. Other father is Daniel Pleasant. Teen.

None of Don’s children turned out ugly. I think I will try with some of the uglier sims in Pleasantview next and see what I come up with.

After all she had been through, and put her family through, Ashley decided to voluntarily commit/check herself into the local Insane Asylum for some much needed counseling. She left in the deep of night, without a word to friends or family.

Look for her there as we next begin the Insane Asylum Challenge. After all she’s already been through, will she be able to survive this as well???

Marylena’s condition continued to worsen until finally….

…..she died alone, out among the weeds.

Jan eventually gave birth to her son James.  James is Ashley’s 10th child.

Marilyn had a birthday…becoming a school-aged girl.

Ivy Copur moved in and brought $12,976. to the family treasury.

Jan went back to work as a superhero, which paid extremely well.

Ashley spent a lot of time alone with Ivy, and eventually the two of them became more than just friends. Jan caught Ashley and Ivy together….

….and Ashley once again felt the wrath of a lover scorned.

James had a birthday….becoming a toddler.

Jan stayed out playing in the cold and snow…. and froze to death.

Ivy helped to give Jan’s son, James, a makeover. Ivy is expecting Ashley’s 11th, and last, child.

She gave birth to a son, which she named Isaac.

Kevin, son of Ashley and Komei, became a teenager….

….and frequently brought one particuliar girl home from school with him named Meadow.

Marilyn Hamilton, daughter of Ashley and Marylena, became a teenager.

James Tellerman, son of Ashley and Jan Tellerman, soon grew to a school-aged boy.

Ivy contacted some disease/sickness which turned her a very ugly greenish/gray color…..

….a sickness which eventually would take her life.

With the death of Ivy, the tenth victim to fall within our black widow’s evil web, the challenge was officially over.

As you can see, because I separated the family, playing the Hoffman household over the other one, Abigail is younger even though she should be older than Kevin….ahhhh….well….lets allow her to be a child a bit longer, shall we?   :)

So….ten lovers and eleven children later…and this challenge is completed.

The ghosts will soon be moved to the Shady Rest Cemetery so that they will no longer be allowed to haunt the children of Ashley.

Yes, this challenge is completed, yet there is one thing left to be done.

Josephine, daughter of Ashley and Joe Carr, became a teenager. I really don’t know what color her hair is. It has just looked gray to me….I’m going to give her a makeover soon.

Poor Marylena. She had a constant fear of being scared by ghosts….and they all seemed to be attracted to her fear. It’s a miracle that she wasn’t scared to death because she was constantly having a breakdown and her motives were in the red. And…I kid you not…the ghosts were out every night and they were ruthless!

She didn’t get very much understanding and sympathy from other members of the family. I think they were all getting tired of seeing her in the middle of yet another breakdown.

Bradley was the first to visit Ashley and his old home (son of Ashley and Brandi Gothier).

I finally gave Josephine a makeover, making her a brunette. Because the ghosts were so active, I decided to have her move out with younger sister Abigail.

Marylena went into labor….

…giving birth to a daughter which she named Marilyn. Marilyn had her mother’s dark eyes.

Marylena, being a family sim, did a great job of watching and caring for Kevin and daughter Marilyn.

Ashley tried to spend time with her children.  Sometimes she was an attentive parent….

….but other times she just couldn’t be bothered.

When Kevin celebrated his birthday, Ashley was there.

Kevin is now a school-aged boy.

Marylena frequently invited her good friend, Jan Tellerman, over to visit.

Eventually Jan joined the family, adding $17,787. to the family treasury. Ashley and Jan got along very well, and even shared the same taste in underwear.

Not surprising, Marylena eventually caught Ashley and Jan in an “uncompromising” position…thus resulting in a nasty slap for Ashley from Marylena.

Marylena was frequently sad…and cried often.

The brightest spot in Marylena’s life was her little daughter, Marilyn. Marilyn soon grew into a toddler, and was a beautiful child. She truly was the most beautiful of all Ashley’s children to date.

Yet, as must as Marylena loved her daughter, her mental status was just too fragile. She continued to have frequent breakdowns.

Jan stepped in and tried to care for little Marilyn, as Marylena was just too unstable to do so. As you can see, Jan is now expecting a child (Ashley’s 10th). Ashley is still unable to conceive herself, so continued to allow her mate to bear her child for her.

What will happen to poor Marylena? Stay tuned.

authors note: I really do feel sorry for Marylena. She seems like such a nice person/sim, and yet she got mixed up in this crazy ghost-filled black-widow household. And I really do think her daughter is very beautiful! It’s just a pity….

Ashley was beginning to age, however gracefully, and it was time to have another drink of the elixer of life.

She could feel every cell of her being come to life as the aging process began to reverse itself within her body, adding precious years to her life.

Ashley held her youngest child….Abigail. She loved Abigail’s big, dark eyes. Abigail looked very much like her father Abhijeet.

Ashley was soon pregnant with Komei’s child….and her 8th.

She soon gave birth to a son, which she named Kevin Hoffman. Another redhead!

After Kevin’s birth, Ashley had her friend Marylena move in to help. Marylena moved in, adding $6,779. to the family treasury. Marylena is a family sim, a Cancer, and is 6 neat, 3 outgoing, 6 active, 4 playful, and 6 nice.

Things between Ashley and Marylena progressed rapidly. Looks like the ghost of Joe Carr approves of a little girl-on-girl action

Komei, however, was not so amused with it all.

He probably should have waited until he wasn’t so upset before he tried to fix the stereo.

It was a “shocking” experience.

The very pregnant ghost of Benjamin Long took advantage of Komei’s weakened condition, scaring him to death.

Abigail (daughter of Ashley and Abijeet) soon became a toddler. As you can see, Marylena is pregnant with Ashley’s next (9th) child. For some reason, Ashley was unable to get pregnant….so….I figured I would just allow her mates to carry her offspring for her

Just a note….a portion of this post/pictures were taken prior to my decision to try deleting my downloads folder and putting in a copy of my downloads folder on my other computer. I wasn’t sure how it would work…but many of the hacks/downloads are showing up and playable, which I am very pleased about. Now….I can have the teenagers move out and find their own place without needing an adult.

Because the house was just getting too full, I had Barry move out, taking teenagers Angela and Merlea with him.

Angela was soon ready to give birth to her sixth child and Joe Carr’s first child.

She had a daughter, and named her Josephine Hoffman. After making sure Josephine looked perfect, Ashley handed her daughter over to Joe to take care of, and went to get some rest.

Although Joe had gotten fired from his job, he was able to get another as a policeman…but he wasn’t making nearly as much money now. Of course, this didn’t go unnoticed to Ashley.

Soon enough, Joe caught Ashley cheating on him with Abhijeet Deppiesse.

Ashley asked Abhijeet to move in and join the family. He moved in, adding $7,023. to the family treasury. Abhijeet is a Romance sim, a Taurus, and is 5 neat, 5 outgoing, 3 active, 8 playful, and 4 nice.

Joe didn’t ever get over the fact that Ashley had cheated on him with Abhijeet…and then had asked Abhijeet to move in and join the family.

Joe finally died….from a broken heart?? Abhijeet watched as the grim reaper came for Joe’s soul.

Rest In Peace Joe Carr.

Bradley had a birthday….becoming a teenager.

Brothers Benjamin and Bradley.  You can certainly tell that Benjamin’s father was Benjamin Long (look at that nose). Bradley’s other mother was Brandi Gothier.

Ashley was soon expecting a child with Abhijeet…..her 7th child. Of course, the fact that she was pregnant did not slow her down a bit.

Ashley soon found the next person to amuse her….Komei Tellerman….as her former lovers appear to look on.

Abhijeet was devestated when he caught Ashley cheating on him with Komei.

Komei Tellerman moved in, adding $11,40. to the family treasury. Komei is a Fortune sim, a Scorpio, 6 neat, 5 outgoing, 8 active, 3 playful, and 3 nice.

Ashley soon gave birth to her child with Abhijeet….a daughter…which she named Abigail Hoffman.

Josephine Carr Hoffman is now a school-aged girl. (Her father was Joe Carr).

I decided to move Benjamin and Bradley out of the house. I don’t think Benjamin wanted to go!!!

Bradley Gothier Hoffman is the son of Ashley and Brandi Gothier, and is the 5th child of Ashley.

Abhijeet died… I think he was scared to death. The ghosts are out and haunting every night…and it’s getting much worse!  Josephine Carr Hoffman mourned his death.

As we last left Ashley, she was being visited by the repoman and in dire need of an additional source of income. Benjamin Long had unexpectedly died after becoming pregnant. Ashley gave birth to their son, which she named Benjamin after his father.

Ashley was able to quickly progress her friendship with Brandi Gothier. Brandi eventually moved in, adding $16,000. to the family treasury. Brandi is a knowledge sim, a Pisces and is 5 neat, 3 outgoing, 7 active, 3 playful, and 7 nice.

Brandi was soon expecting another child….this time with Brandi.

She found Brandi attractive enough….and loved her red hair.

However….there was nothing wrong with keeping her eyes open for future prospects…was there? She found Abhijeet pleasant to the eyes…..

….but Joe Carr showed a maternal instinct that Ashley found appealing. After all, she wanted to make sure her children were always taken care of.

Brandi was not happy when she caught Ashley and Joe being “friendly” behind the house. Ashley asked Joe to move in and join the family. Joe moved in with $5000. to add to the family treasury.

Ashley and Brandi’s son, Bradley Hoffman, was born with his mother’s red hair. How cute!

With her birthing duties completed, Ashley quickly handed her son over to Brandi to care for.

Once Bradley became a toddler, Joe and Brandi shared in the duties of raising a demanding toddler.

Merlea was soon to become a teenager. Joe fixed a nice dinner and was there to help in the celebration.

Benjamin seemed to need a lot of extra help with getting his grades back up. They got down to a ‘D’, and I was worried that the social worker was going to make a visit. He was able to get them back up before that happened.  The house was just getting too full, and it was getting too hard to watch everyone and make sure all their needs were being met. (no aspiration cheats!)

Finally…..the birthday I had been waiting for! Barry was to become an adult (no University installed), and Bradley was to become a school-aged boy.

Barry (adult) and youngest brother Bradley (school-aged) shared a birthday. I had Barry move out to a place of his own, taking the two teenagers ( Angela and Merlea) with him. They moved into a house next door to Ashley. This still left Ashley, Brandi, Joe, Benjamin and Bradley in the home. As the children age to teenager, and before they age to adulthood, I will have them move out and in with Barry in order to age them all correctly.

Brandi passed away (of starvation), which left Ashley, Joe, Benjamin and Bradley in the home.

Joe was fired from his job after the wrong choice was made on a chance card. This is definately not going to make Ashley very happy!

What will she do now that Joe is no longer bringing in any income???? Stay tuned!

Marisa Bendett moved into the Hoffman family, adding $16,000. to the family treasury! Marisa is a fortune sim, a Virgo, and is 4 neat, 7 outgoing, 8 active, 3 playful, and 3 nice. She seemed to get along well with both Barry and Angela.

This time we did it right, and Ashley was soon expecting her next child.

It didn’t take long for the ghost of Brandi to begin to haunt….and she wasn’t as nice to Marisa in the afterlife as she had been in this one!

While awaiting the birth of her child, Ashley found a fun way to keep herself…occupied…

….but, unfortunately, Marisa was not amused by it all.

Ashley gave birth to another girl…and named her Merlea Bendett.

After Merlea’s birth, Ashley asked Benjamin Long to move in. Benjamen moved in, adding $14,000. to the family treasury.  Benjamen is a knowledge sim, a Sagittarius, and is 2 neat, 3 outgoing, 9 active, 7 playful, and 4 nice. It didn’t take long at all for Benjamin to fall deeply in love with Ashley.

Of course, Marisa was still useful….for a bit longer.

As a toddler, Merlea was much more demanding of Ashley’s time. I don’t think Ashley is pleased that she has been taken away from her new boy-toy.

Barry and Angela continued to grow, seemingly unaffected by the circumstances surrounding them.

Barry grew into a fine looking teenager. He is a knowledge sim, a Virgo, 9 neat, 2 outgoing, 4 active, 3 playful, and 7 nice.  Little sister Angela doesn’t seem too excited about the birthday/transformation.

When Angela had her birthday, siblings Barry and Merlea were there to join in the celebration.

Brandi continued to haunt almost nightly, taking her vengeance out especially on Marisa.

You might even say that Brandi took out the ultimate vengeance on Marisa….by scaring her to death.

Though Ashley mourned the death of Marisa….life must go on…. and she still had her children….  But Ashley needed to take a few years off of her life. She certainly wasn’t ready to even think about getting older yet.  But….whatever happened to Benjamin Long??

Well….it’s a long story….but…apparently the hack works the same way whether you have a male-to-male or a male-to-female couple, because I instinctly had Ashley use the ‘try for baby’ choice, thus resulting in Benjamin getting pregnant!  Seems I didn’t learn the first time.  But….pregnancy didn’t seem to agree with Benjamin, because he suddenly died (I’m really not sure why though). This threw a wrench into my plans, however, as Benjamin was never able to catch Ashley cheating on him before he died. He did manage to get Ashley pregnant though!

Ashley gave birth to a son, and she named him Benjamin after his dad. Benjamin Hoffman’s birth was celebrated by siblings Merlea (who is now a school-aged girl), and teens Angela and Barry. He’s cute….looks like he’s smiling!

With all the money that was added to the family treasury, Ashley was able to add a second floor to the house and do a few upgrades. There was still a lot to do, however.

Uh-Oh….looks like it’s time for Ashley to find her next partner….and quickly!!

This challenge is very loosely based on the Black Widow Challenge. I only have two expansion packs installed…Nightlife and Seasons. I have a few hacks….the one that allows same-sex pregnancies, and the one that ages babies and toddlers more quickly. That’s about it though. I want and NEED the insimenator, but haven’t been able to access the site to download it. I hope I can play without it!!!!  I’ve downloaded a few things from Mod The Sims 2 in order to make my sims look a little more appealing. Hopefully, more will come soon.  So, for now, on with the story…

Meet Ashley Hoffman…first resident to my new Legacy Land home site.  Ashley is a romance sim and a Pisces. She is 5 neat, 3 outgoing, 7 active, 3 playful, and 7 nice.

Ashley moved into a small home, leaving her about $9000. for decorating it.

Modest, yes….but comfortable.

The welcome committee was a literal goldmine of available/potential partners for Ashley. She was welcomed to the neighborhood by Brandi LeTourneau, Marisa Bendett, and Benjamen Long.

I find it interesting the way Ashley is checking Brandi out while pretending to read the newspaper.

Looks like Ashley has made her first choice. It didn’t take long for Brandi to fall under her spell.  Brandi LaTourneau moved in, adding $4000. to the family treasury.  Brandi is a knowledge sim, a Virgo and is 9 neat, 2 outgoing, 6 active, 3 playful, and 5 nice. There was one little glitch, however….

….the hack that allows same-sex pregnancies didn’t work in the way I was thinking it would. The person that wants to get pregnant is not the one to do the ‘try for baby’. Instead, the one who does NOT want to get pregnant should be the one to ‘try for baby’. I had it backwards, and had Ashley ‘try for baby’, thus resulting in Brandi getting pregnant. Are you completely confused yet???

So…we tried again….this time with Brandi doing the ‘try for baby’ option, and now Ashley is pregnant as well.  Oh well….a lesson learned…

Soon Barry had grown into a school-aged child, and Angela was a toddler.

Once she had finally found the right person, it was time for Ashley to move on to her second mate.

Brandi’s response when she found Ashley and Marisa cuddling on the couch was rather interesting. She just stood there, and then waved hello to her old friend Marisa?? She took it all quite calmly I must say.

As you can tell, I’m not really telling a story here…just putting up the pictures and trying to keep the facts straight. I’m still trying to learn to use my new computer without all my expansion packs and all the hacks I am used to…..
